Phentermine Withdrawal?

As I may have mentioned in a previous post, I rescheduled my last weigh-in because I was busy and didn't have the funds for the appointment at the end of the month. (They don't accept insurance, but I can file for a reimbursement on my own.) Rescheduling put me going without some of my medications for a few days. I get the Synthroid at my preferred pharmacy since insurance will reduce my copay, and I was able to get an "emergency" supply from them to cover me for 3 days until I had my appointment. No lapse on the thyroid med. The Phentermine, however, was a different story. I get it directly from Dr. Pate's office and my pharmacy couldn't provide any since there was no script on file. That was the one I was worried about going without because I believe it has made the most difference. Project 52: Sick and on a Diet

It's February and I'm sick. No big surprise there. Usually around this time of year I end up catching some kind of cold which leads to a sinus infection. Surprisingly,  the sinus infection part of the deal lasted very briefly this time. Only a couple of days versus a week. Yellow drainage was only a part of my life for about two days. I'm still having some congestion and cough, though, so I went to the store to pick up some Robitussin. If you're on the South Beach Diet or need to watch carbs and sugar, consider sugar-free medicines and cough drops. They'll ease your suffering without adding unwanted carbs to your diet. My local grocery store didn't have sugar free Robitussin, but I did find it in a generic. Not only is it sugar-free, but it is also dye-free which I like. I had some a couple of hours ago and the flavor wasn't too bad. It does contain aspartame, so if you're not a fan or have issues with it, you may want to forgo taking it. But I haven...
